WestFest in September was the first of many planned successful collaborations between the independent businesses of West Didsbury. And now, we're doing it all again...
This time we'll be creating a Winter Wonderland, with a unique West Didsbury twist. Once again, our fabulous independents have pulled together to make West Didsbury your one-stop-shop for Christmas. Get your Christmas tree, your decorations, your cards, your Christmas pudding, your turkey, your favourite tipple, your party frock, your gorgeous sexy underwear, your party hair, your manicure, your Christmas flowers and all your gorgeous gifts.
With a Christmas lights switch on, magical window displays, all businesses connected by twinkling lights, a Christmas tree, festive events, mulled wine and a welcome return for the Winter Farmers Market, XmasWestFest is the way to kick off your festive season.

XmasWestFest in a Nutshell
Thursday 3rd December - West Didsbury Christmas lights switch on* with Dave Haslam, Metropolitan Christmas Party and late night opening - read more...
When asked to be part of XmasWestFest, Dave Haslam commented : "Being involved in helping to launch WestFest is great. I wouldn't like to think how much money I've spent over the years on Burton Road. But not out of charity; the independent businesses in this area are of the highest quality, and they give this part of Manchester real personality."
Piping hot baked potatoes will be provided courtesy of The Co-operative on the night. Cavendish Primary School and Lancasterian will also be involved in the event, with children from each school forming a choir for the event. Once the lights are on and XmasWestFest has officially started the fun begins.
Friday 4th December - Late night opening, art exhibition preview at Didsbury Life - all welcome
Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December - XmasWestFest - see here for details...
*Please note that all children attending the West Didsbury Christmas lights switch on MUST be accompanied by an adult, as this will take place outside The Co-operative on Burton Road, next to a busy main thoroughfare. The organisers of the festival can take no reponsibility for unaccompanied children. This event is a family oriented event.
