A mainstay of the West Didsbury, Cachumba opened in 1993 with the concept of creating wholesome, homely food cooked freshly at a reasonable price.

 

Countries such as India, Sri lanka, Malaysia, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand and Africa were visited to bring fresh ideas and unusual recipes. Each Cachumba dish is authentically prepared with freshly ground spices and herbs as it would be in its native land and creates the unique flavours of the region.

 

At Cachumba it's all about enjoying food in a relaxed, informal atmosphere where friends can share dishes and sample the exotic flavours as they would be in their countries of origin.
